Privacy Notice
How information is handled when you visit Blackonomics.net, use its resources, or contact the publication.

Legal information
These notices explain the publication’s usage rules and data practices. They are not legal advice. Consult a qualified attorney about your specific legal rights or obligations.
01Who operates the publication
Blackonomics.net is operated by Blackonomics.net USA, based in Indiana, United States. This notice covers the published Blackonomics website, not third-party services linked from it.
Our public mailbox is not active yet. The planned address is contact@blackonomics.net, but please do not send messages until the contact page confirms it is ready. We do not currently provide a working contact form or another public contact channel.
02Information you provide
The current website has no accounts, sign-in, contact or email-collection forms, newsletter signup, user uploads, comments, or payments. It does not ask you to submit your name, email address, or payment details.
Search terms and filters in the AI Tool Index, economists page, business ideas, and state directory are processed locally in your browser while the page is open. The publication’s code does not send those terms or selections to our server or an AI service. Opening a resource summary also does not submit information to the source provider.
03Hosting requests and traffic statistics
Replit hosts and serves the website. Delivering pages and protecting the service involves technical request information, which may include your IP address, requested page, request time, referring page, and browser or device information. Hosting and network providers handle this information for delivery, security, reliability, and their own service operations.
Replit offers hosting-platform traffic statistics based on network and browser data. When enabled for a published release, these can include approximate visitor counts, page views, referrers, countries, browsers, and devices. We have not added advertising pixels or session-recording code to this publication.
When Replit analytics is enabled and its tracker is available, we record the custom event education_fee_review_calendar_download after a fee-review calendar download is initiated. It helps us understand use of this optional editor tool; it does not confirm that the file was saved or imported. We send no custom event data: no account information, program pricing, personal calendar data, search terms, filters or free-text review notes. The event is handled alongside the hosting-platform analytics described above. Downloads still work when analytics is unavailable. This is measurement only, not calendar synchronization or external notifications.
See the Replit Privacy Policy (opens a Blackonomics summary first) and its traffic statistics documentation (opens a Blackonomics summary first). We have not independently confirmed every field recorded or a fixed retention period for hosting data.
04Google Fonts
Playfair Display, DM Sans, and DM Mono are loaded from Google Fonts. Your browser requests their stylesheet and font files directly from Google. These requests include your IP address, requested URL, and HTTP headers such as browser information and, where sent by your browser, the referring page.
Google states that its Fonts Web API does not set or log cookies. Its font requests are separate from authenticated Google services. Read the Google Fonts privacy explanation (opens a Blackonomics summary first). Using these fonts does not mean the publication has installed Google Analytics.
05Cookies, storage, and your browser
The publication’s own currently active code does not set cookies or write searches and filters to local storage or session storage. Temporary interface state stays in memory; your browser may cache website files as part of normal browsing.
Hosting infrastructure and third-party sites have their own practices, which we do not control. You can use browser settings to manage cookies, cached files, and external requests; blocking resources may affect appearance or functionality. We do not operate targeted advertising, sell personal information, or use visitor profiling to make legal or similarly significant decisions.
06External resources
Resource links normally open a Blackonomics summary first. The summary does not load the external resource as an embedded page. If you choose “Visit original source,” your browser connects to that third party, which can receive normal request information and apply its own privacy policies.
We do not send the search text or filter selections you entered on Blackonomics to linked agencies, publishers, directories, chambers, or AI providers. Review their policies before sharing information or signing up for their services.
07Email correspondence
The planned public mailbox is not active yet, and this website has no contact form. We are not currently inviting messages to that address. The contact page will be updated after the mailbox has been set up and tested.
Once a working public email channel is available, an inquiry may provide your sender address, name, message, and attachments. We would use that information to respond, address corrections or permission requests, and meet applicable legal obligations. The email provider and its relevant practices will be identified when that service is established.
An inquiry is not a newsletter subscription or automatic marketing signup. Do not send passwords, financial account details, government identification, or other sensitive documents.
08Sharing, retention, and security
Information handled by Replit and Google Fonts is processed under those providers’ practices. Service providers may process information in countries other than your own. We do not operate a separate database of reader profiles, submitted searches, or newsletter subscribers.
Hosting-data retention is controlled by the hosting provider, and no particular retention period is promised here. If correspondence is later received, information we control will be kept only as reasonably needed to handle the inquiry, resolve disputes, or comply with applicable obligations; the notice will be updated for the chosen email service.
The website uses HTTPS to protect requests in transit. No website, network, or email service can guarantee complete security.
09Privacy rights and requests
Depending on the law and circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information, to opt out of certain processing, or to appeal a decision about a request. Nothing in this notice limits rights that applicable law grants you.
Requests about information controlled by the publication should use the public contact channel once it becomes available. The contact page currently explains that it is not active; there is no working website request form. For information controlled independently by a hosting or font provider, consult that provider’s privacy policy and request process.
Indiana residents can read the Attorney General’s Consumer Data Protection Bill of Rights (opens a Blackonomics summary first). The availability of specific rights depends on legal applicability; this notice does not claim that the publication meets every statute’s coverage thresholds or certify regulatory compliance.
10Children
The publication provides general educational information and is not directed specifically to children under 13. We do not knowingly solicit personal information from children. A parent or guardian with a concern should use the public contact channel when it becomes available. Any children’s personal information we learn we control will be handled as required by applicable law.
11Updates to this notice
We will post changes here with a revised last-updated date. If forms, accounts, a newsletter, new analytics, advertising, uploads, or payments are introduced, this notice will be updated to explain them before they are used. Material changes will be brought to readers’ attention as required by applicable law.
